Easy Berry Cobbler

With “Spring” here and hopefully warmer temperatures right around the corner I thought everyone would be interested in a nice light dessert.

For this Berry Cobbler you only need 3 ingredients!

Ingredients:
24oz of frozen fruit

  • Use whatever you like. Our favorite is a mix of Raspberries, Blackberries and Blueberries. But we have used Straight raspberries, straight blackberries or mixes that included any of the above or peaches or strawberries. We haven’t had one that we haven’t liked yet!

1 box of white cake mix

  • But honestly you can use whatever kind of cake mix you want. If you want chocolate- use chocolate!

1 can (12 ounces) of diet 7 up

  • Sprite, Sierra Mist, Store Brand- it all works

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

You want to layer your ingredients without stirring in a 9×13 pan

Frozen berries first, then dry cake mix, then the 7Up.
That’s it! Do nothing more besides slide it into the oven for 50-60 mins or until Golden Brown.
Mine normally takes exactly 55 mins but everyone’s oven is different.

Don’t worry if you see some spots that look like dry cake mix when it comes out. Once you serve, it mixes with the sauce that was made by the berries and it is delicious!!!
Even add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to everyone’s dish for a real treat 🙂
